– Day One
👉🏻Angkor Wat(Angkor Wat is a largest Hindu temple not only in Cambodia but in the world. Originally constructed during the period king Suryavarman II in late of 12th century for worshipping the Hindu god Vishnu. Angkor Wat is a man made temple mountain with nine towers of which five towers are the main towers which standing on the top. The main shrine in the center and other four towers at the each corner of the rectangle encompassing the temple.
👉🏻Baksei Chamkring(Small Hindu Temple was built in 947 having been started during the reign of King Harshavarman I , a son of Yasovarman. The temple was completed by the King Rajandravarman II(944-967). Baksei Chamkrong mean the bird who shelters under its wings.
👉🏻Angkor Thom (was the last and largest capital city of Khmer empire. It was founded by the king JayavarmanVII after defeating Cham invaders in Angkor in 1181 A.D. Angkor Thom was not the first Khmer capital city on the site. Originally was called Yasodharapura dating from three centuries earlier.
👉🏻Bayon( was the last big and interesting temple to be constructed at Angkor and was built in the late 12th century or early 13th century as an official state temple of the king JayavarmanVII. Bayon was located in the center of Angkor Thom and represented Mount Mandara, mythical mountain which served as pivot for churning the ocean of milk. The temple is known also for two impressive sets of bas-reliefs.
👉🏻Terrace of elephant (in front of the eastern gate of the palace is the elephant terrace that stretches for a length of about 350 meters,running from south to north. The middle section of the retaining wall is decorated with large sculpture of Garuda and loins who are raising their wings and arms up to physically support the terrace.
👉🏻Terrace of Leper king (has a double wall dedicated with bas reliefs running 25 meters on each side and six meters high are divided into seven horizontal registers. The bas reliefs depicted gods,goddess and Demi gods holding a meeting in the underworld presided over by lord Shiva.
👉🏻Ta Prohm(was founded by king Jayavarman VII and was dedicated to his mother under her posthumous name Brajnabaramita”the perfect of wisdom” Her statue placed in the center shrine of the temple. The considered as the “mother of the Buddha” Rajavihara translates as Monastery of the king and was the original name of the temple. It was constructed in 1186 A.D beside the dedication to his mother,Ta Prohm also has some annex buildings dedicated to the king’s kuru.
👉🏻Banteay Kdey (which translates as (A Citadel of Chambers) is a Buddhist temple ,built in the mid-12th century to earlier 13th centuries AD during the reign of Jayavarman VII,the temple has been occupied by monks at various intervals over the centuries containing until the 1960s.

Day Two
👉🏻Banteay Srei ( Lies near the hill of Phnom Dei and Kulen l some 37 kilometers north of Siem Reap. It was built largely of pinky sandstone. Banteay Srei means citadel of women and is a modern name called by local residents,around 16th or 17th century,because of the intricacy of the carvings found on the walls. But originally named was Tribhuvana Mahesvara which means the great lord of the three words (Tri means three ,Bhuvana means world and Mahesvara referring to the great lord Shiva). The three world are hell,located under our feet; men,located on earth; and the world of gods in the heavens. The old town of Banteay Srei was Isvarapura, the holy city of Isvara(Lord Shiva). Consecrated 967 A.D to the Hindu god Shiva, it was built by a royal Brahman named Yajnavahara and was assisted by his brother Vishnukumara. Yajnavahara was advisor to king Rajendravarman II who ruled the Khmer Empire from 944-968 A.D.
👉🏻Preh Khan( was located north east of Angkor Thom. Temple is flat in design, basic plan of successive rectangular galleries around a Buddhist sanctuary like the Ta Prohm temple. Preh Khan means Royal sword and had the original name of Nagarajayasri(Holy city of victory). Temple was built in the 12th century during the king JayavarmanVII to honour his father.
👉🏻Neak Pean(the name of temple is derived from the sculptures of the serpents(Naga) running around the base of temple. Originally named of Neak Pean temple was Rajasri and was was built during the king JayavarmanVII in the late of 12th century.
👉🏻Ta Som(Was built at the end of 12th century in the reign of King Jayavarman VII land dedicated to Mahayana Buddhism. The style of this temple like the nearby Preah Khan and Ta Prohm. It’s located between Neak Pean and East Mebon temples.

👉🏻East Mebon (Is 10th century temple,built during the reign king Rajendravarman. It’s stands on an artificial island at the center of the large reservoir Yasodharatataka which its size was 7,000meters by 1,350 meters.
👉🏻Pre Rup( Is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Shiva Linga named Rajandrabhadresvara(that is the king Rajendravarman in the form of Shiva god on earth) in 961 A.D. It was a state temple of king Rajendravarman. Pre Rup is a temple’s name meaning “turning the body “from a later developed local myth!

Day 3
-Kulen mountain ( Is located north east of Siem Reap about 65 kilometers,its a first of the Angkor period in 802 A.D during the the king Jayavarman II. After he get freedom from Java’s invaders. Then he ordered his peoples to carve 1000 of Shiva Linga and Yoni in the natural river. Originally named called Mahendra Baravat. It’s holy water go pass by Siem Reap City down to Tonle Sap Lake.
-Tonle Sap Lake (it’s a largest natural freshwater lake in south east Asia,located in middle of the country and connected to the Mekong river. Five provinces are surrounding of the Lake: Kompong Thom,Siem Reap,Battambang,Pusat and Kompong Chnang province. There are a few floating Village are on the lake at Siem Reap site, their living by fishing,farming and tourism.
– Rolous Group ( Ancient capital city before Angkor in 9th century,was called Hariharalaya).
– ⁠Prasat Preh Ko( was consecrated on 25th of January 880 A.D during the reign of King Indravarman II(877-889 A.D) dedicated to lord Shiva and the ancestors of the king. Preh Ko means “sacred ox” was located 13 kilometers east of Siem Reap and is a part of the former capital city Hariharalaya.
– ⁠Bakhong( located at Roluos south of Preh Ko Temple and was the center of the town Harihalaya,built by King Indravarman II in 881 A.D worshipping to god Shiva.
– ⁠Lo Lei( was built in 893 A.D by the king Yasovarman I who reigned from 889-910 A.D and was the son of King Indravarman I, dedicated the temple to his spiritual ancestors including his mother,father and grandparents.
